Setting Up Tracking Links & Pixels

Setting Up Tracking Links & Pixels

Accurate tracking is the foundation of your IB business. If you can't track it, you can't optimize it.

Understanding Your Tracking Link

Your broker gives you a unique URL like:

https://broker.com/register?ib=12345&campaign=youtube

Key parameters:

  • ib=12345 — Your unique IB ID

  • campaign — Optional tag to track which campaign generated the lead
  • UTM Parameters

Add UTM parameters to track traffic sources in Google Analytics:

    ?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=scalping_review

  • utm_source — Where the traffic comes from (youtube, telegram, instagram)

  • utm_medium — Type of traffic (video, post, ad, email)

  • utm_campaign — Specific campaign name
  • Setting Up in BIAFC Dashboard

  • Go to Brokers → Select your broker

  • Click Generate Link

  • Add your campaign tags

  • Copy the complete URL with tracking
  • Link Shorteners

Long tracking URLs look spammy. Use:

  • Bit.ly — Free, basic analytics

  • Your own domain — Best for trust (e.g., yourdomain.com/go/broker)

  • Pretty Links — WordPress plugin for custom redirects
  • Pixel Tracking

If running paid ads, set up conversion pixels:

  • Meta Pixel — Track Facebook/Instagram ad conversions

  • Google Ads Tag — Track Google Ads conversions

  • TikTok Pixel — Track TikTok ad conversions
  • The BIAFC Dashboard Advantage

    BIAFC automatically tracks:

  • ✅ Clicks on your tracking links

  • ✅ Registrations (sign-ups)

  • ✅ FTDs (first-time deposits)

  • ✅ Trading volume of your referrals

  • ✅ Commission earned per client
  • Daily Tracking Routine

    Spend 5 minutes every morning:

  • Check yesterday's clicks, registrations, and FTDs

  • Calculate conversion rates (clicks → registrations → FTDs)

  • Identify your best-performing content/ads

  • Pause underperforming campaigns

  • Double down on what's working
